Giclée printing offers many benefits to artists and publishers, allowing an edition of work to be printed on demand. Giclée print files are recorded and stored and can be reproduced as required – allowing artists, photographers and illustrators to print any quantity from one offs to a total edition limit.

Artwork Scanning Service

ALL ART MUST BE REMOVED FROM ITS FRAME – I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGED GLASS OR FRAMES.

Your artwork is scanned with our high resolution scanners. If your artwork is 8×10 or smaller it is scanned on our Epson medium format flatbed scanner @ 2400 dpi. All larger artwork is scanned with our BetterLight 6000HS scanner. All scans are such that you can make prints 2-3 times their original size, without losing any quality. All scanning is generally turned around in 5 days or less.

8×10 or smaller high resolution scan – $35.00
Post production and an 11×14 production print – $20.00

11×14 – 20×24 – $65.00

Calculator Explanation

  • Height x Width: In inches, this should be the dimensions of the print area of your print.
  • Borders: This is the border around your artwork, or the printed margin area for canvas wraps. Note: If you are printing on canvas you will need 2″ of margin for stretching.
  • Clear Coat: We no longer coat our canvas with a clear coat. Our new canvas comes with a protective coating already in the material. UV Coating Fine Art papers: In some cases artists will ask to have fine art papers UV coated, especially when reproducing acrylics on paper. Otherwise we do not coat our papers.
  • Substrate: Paper/Canvas/Fabric/Metal etc. People often get confused, we have quite a few choices, and some that aren’t listed here. If you’re not sure what you want just ask.
  • Canvas Stretching: I can stretch your canvas prints for you and have them ready to hang on your or your customer’s wall. I offer two different versions. 3/4″ stretcher bars, normally used when your are going to frame the artwork. 1 1/4″ stretcher bars when you are going to hang your artwork without a frame. Both versions come wired along with wall hangers. If you are going to frame the artwork we would normally not add color to the border. When you intend to hang your art without a frame your border needs to be printed with a solid color or the image extended around the edges for the stretcher bar.

High Resolution Digital Scanning
Your art is scanned using BetterLight 6000 HS high resolution digital scan back. This camera produces extremely large files and is considered the best American Made camera available today.

Giclee Printing

Your Giclee reproductions are produced using a Canon 44 inch wide format printer. All paper and canvas images are printed on archival substraits, using pigmented inks.

Your Digital Files

You can now send your digital files, ready for printing. Currently we can take a tiff, jpeg, pdf, png files, and have no problem converting then into great looking images. Go to www.wesendit.com or click the button below for more info.
