The artist
Small figures, big personality.
Claudia Christensen is the Pennsylvania artist behind Creations by Sparky, a lively collection of handmade Tiny People, gnomes, and custom ornaments.
For more than three decades, Claudia has explored fiber, wood, glass, clay, and other materials. Her work brings those experiments together in miniature forms made to feel specific, personal, and full of character.
Each Tiny Person is assembled by hand using a mix of polymer clay, leather, embroidery floss, wire, and more. From medical professionals and public safety figures to whimsical gnomes, every ornament is unique, even when two begin with a similar idea.
Claudia has also contributed to a stained-glass butterfly installation at Hershey Gardens’ Butterfly Atrium, reflecting the collaborative spirit that runs through her practice.
