Wayne Fettro is a Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania artist known for oil paintings with the patience, observation, and detail that he calls passionate, obsessed, and detailed.
Art has defined Wayne’s life since he began taking classes at age seven. From large-scale murals and hand-painted billboards to portraits and plein air work, he has continued to put brush to canvas while finding character in the everyday.
Wayne is drawn to the meeting place of nature and machinery, where close observation turns familiar subjects into paintings that hold stories, memories, and feeling. His mural work includes the Molly Pitcher mural in Carlisle, created for the Cumberland County Historical Society and Downtown Carlisle Association.
