Artwork Scanning Price

Your artwork is scanned with our high resolution scanners. If your artwork is 8×10 or smaller it is scanned on our Epson medium format flatbed scanner @ 2400 dpi. All larger artwork is scanned with our BetterLight 000HS scanner. All scans are such that you can make prints 2-3 times their original size, without losing any quality. All scanning is generally turned around in 5 days or less.

You have a choice with your scans. You can have your artwork scanned and placed on a flash drive, without any additional work on the files, or have your work scanned, post processed, and proofed with an 11×14 print printed on your choice of fine art paper or canvas. We store your files here at the studio plus give you a copy of your finished files.

It is our goal to give you the most accurate color reproduction that is technically possible. Unlike many other companies we go through a multi-step process.

  1. Your artwork is scanned using color corrected lighting and a high resolution calibrated scanner.
  2. A white card is then scanned to go along with your artwork.
  3. Your artwork colors and the white card are digitally captured into separate files.
  4. Your original artwork file, white card file, digital artwork file, and digital white card file are taken into another piece of software and calibrated giving a production file.
  5. The production file is then printed on archival paper or archival canvas using archival inks.
  6. From there, if needed, the colors are adjusted to get as close as possible to your original artwork.
