Thom glace is a transparent watercolor artist, specializing in nature studies. His favorite subjects are: trout, salmon, freshwater & saltwater fish, dragonflies, Songbirds, Shorebirds, & Mayflies.
Thom and his wife Mary lived a nomadic lifestyle while he worked in international marketing, including stops in North Carolina, New Hampshire, St. Croix Usvi, the Netherlands and Pennsylvania, while traveling to over 80 counties. This lifestyle came to an abrupt halt with a disabling heart condition over 15 years ago…That is when Thom’s Art Career started, since that time, Thom has participated in art shows and exhibitions throughout New England, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, New York city and Pennsylvania. He has been featured artist in Montana trout magazine, southern trout magazine, fly dreamers, mid-Atlantic fly fishing guide and Virginia wildlife magazine. He was the 2016 featured artist for Tenkara magazine. he was selected as the feature artist for the 2014 Virginia fly fishing festival. From 2016 to 2018 was featured artist for the Cape Lookout Albacore & Redfish Festival, Moorehead City, NC. He was named artist of the year by Fly Life Magazine for 2018. His art is shown in outfitters and galleries from new Hampshire to the outer banks, Montana, Florida & Pennsylvania.
